This confirms the unit is fully charged, mechanically sound, and code-compliant.6-year internal maintenance — Required for stored-pressure extinguishers that carry a 12-year hydrostatic test interval (most dry chemical units). The extinguisher is emptied, examined internally, and recharged.Hydrostatic testing — A pressure test of the cylinder itself, done every 5 or 12 years depending on extinguisher type (see below).We handle the annual, 6-year, and hydrostatic tiers, as is required for a technician to perform.
